Debating workshop with Nick Allen

On 14th and 18th April we had the opportunity to attend a debating workshop with Prof. Nick Allen. Prof. Allen is a British-Austrian theatre educator, actor and director and has been our guest for over 20 years now. Once again several students from the third, fourth and fifth classes had the chance to learn how to professionally debate and to practice their use of the English language. The students were taught about how to be more persuasive and what to pay attention to when debating. This was a great occasion to learn more about public speaking and to engage in a lively discussion about various controversial topics.
